GRoboduino Library (and some changes)


It's been a while... I know... But now, the GRoboduino Library is uploaded (v1) and you can find it along with the documentation and the rest of GRoboduino files in the list on the right!

Also the file hoster has changed, the files are no longer on rapidshare, they have been uploaded on google sites.

Another thing you should know is that the H-Bridge in the schematics and BOM has changed from SN754410 to L293DNE, as after thorough research it came up that the diodes in SN754410 are meant to be ESD protection ones, not clamp diodes.

GRoboduino v2 Final

Finally the fixed layout of GRoboduino is ready and the revised boards have arrived! Changes included some needed pull up resistors, some footprint changes as well as some silkscreen additions. Also high current traces got wider and 5v Regulator can supply up to 2A instead of 1A (78 05).

GRoboduino Key points:


* ATMega328 with Arduino Bootloader, running at 16Mhz
Motor Controller: Dual H-Bridge, 4.5v - 36v, 600mA per motor (1.2A peak), with selectable power (internal regulated voltage or Vin), occupying only 2 arduino pins / motor!
Buzzer  (pin 10)
Led (pin 13)
Servo compatible pins for all available analog and digital pins

Screw Terminals for Motors and Vin
FTDI Connector
* 5V Regulator (2A)


* Compact design, although using discrete components
